About Us
Herwa Heart of Art Foundation (also known as Herwa Heart of Art Initiative) uses the creative process to provide therapy through art and to help victims of trauma develop interpersonal skills. Founded and led by artist, curator and cultural advocate Kaltume Bulama Gana, the Foundation combines professional art practice, community engagement and culturally-sensitive programs tailored for North-Eastern Nigeria.
